Alice-Elizabeth (Prolific Reader Alice) (marriedtobooks44) | 3 comments I'm from the UK, I'm not 18 but I'm really confused over the terms for a Giveaway. I have entered a couple which I haven't won anything. It talks about the age of majority and on searching it up on the internet, some sites said that it was 16, some said it was 18 and one said that it was 21 for the UK. Am I entering giveaways when I'm not meant to? I'm new to the site...

Dagmar (dagg) | 8 comments Hi Alice,
I am certainly over 18 (way over 18) so I'm not totally clear on what the minimum age is to enter giveaways. I will try to look into it on your behalf later in the morning. I am in Seattle, Washington and its 3 a.m. right now. I was up way too late reading apparently.

Dagmar (dagg) | 8 comments Hi Alice-the age of majority in the US is 18 (with the exception of a few states). It also appears to be 18 in most countries including the UK per Wikipedia.
