Just read three WONDERFUL regencies back to back, which hasn't happened to me in a long while.
Three Weeks With Lady X by EJ, which I adored. I think it's her best so far. Definitely up there with A Duke of Her Own.
Between the Devil and Ian Eversea by Julie Anne Long, which was funny and sad and sexy. She is just so consistently good in this series.
Sweet Disorder by Rose Lerner, which was delightful. I loved her unusual historical details, and her characterization and really just everything. She deserves to be better known.

I pre-ordered the new books by EJ, JAL, and Kristan Higgins. Nothing has arrived yet. Gah! I hope they'll get here soon, because I've heard great things about all three. Glad to know you liked EJ's and JAL's newest so much, Manda.

Oh no, Theresa! What a bummer. Hope they get there soon!
Yay, Irish! Hope you like it. I really would love some more revolutionary war romances. It's such a rich time period for conflict and romance.

Eeeek! Auto correct really messed up there.
- White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Finished up with my Monday read and I'm starting on To Dance With The Devil (Blood Singer series) by Cat Adams. Is anyone following this series? The last book felt stale. I really hope the pace picks up in this one.

Loving Meredith Duran's new book. I did like EJ's new book . I was frustrated by the new Higgins--I feel like she could go deeper and has in other books.

I loved it, Manda. I loved the use of historical figures, places and events. ITA that it is such a great period in history and ripe with conflict and intrigue (especially the romantic kind). I'm sure there were more than a few couples on opposite sides of the war. I just ordered THE REBEL PIRATE.
Yay, Irish!! I might have to reread it soon. Such a great book. I'm going to take a look at some more historical novels set in that era. I'll let you know if I find anything.
Some early Jo Goodwins are set in the Revolutionary war. They are not my favorites by her but still worth reading and now available in ebook. Same for some early Gurhke.

In the meantime, I'm reading Ruthie Knox's Roman Holiday serial. I'm not a fan of serials (too impatient) but I am a big fan of Ruthie, so as soon as this was complete I grabbed the whole thing. I'm in part 6 of 10 and it's great--funny yet with lots of depth.
Thanks, Deb, I'll look them up!
Glad you at least have an ETA on your books, Theresa. I had forgotten about that Knox serial. Guess I need to look it up too;)

Theresa, forgot about RK's ROMAN HOLIDAY. I read her book TRULY that she serialized on Wattpad last year and loved it but you can't get that until August. I was doing the same thing with ROMAN HOLIDAY - waiting until it was complete before picking it up. Guess it's time to look into purchasing that. LOL
Is the second half out of the RK book? I read the first half and admired the writing but found it grim. But she always wins me over with her endings so I am eager to see this one too. I loved her second book--I think it's called About last night--really amazing

Irisheyes, good to know you enjoyed TRULY. I've ordered it, so I'll get to read it in August. At least I won't have to wait for shipping on that one. :)
