We actually met right here on Goodreads! Terri read my first book and we became friends from that.

I guess that was my idea. Hence the hook at the end of the prologue which didn't happen, but I thought added the suspense I wanted to go for in the story. We wanted a HEA and this was a solution to giving one.

Yes, I think the "feels" really shined in this story. And thanks for your words on the epilogue. Wasn't sure as I planned to end at the wedding, but got the warning that I should continue on and give it all. I'm surprised no one has asked what Cate was having. A.M. bugged me, but I still haven't told her, lol.

Yes, especially when I'm digging for emotions. And when I write party scenes, I like to feel like I'm in a club, party or whatever. Not that you wanted to know all of that, lol.

Yeah, what A.M. said. However, she didn't know right away that I wrote books as well.

Me. It was my brainchild to keep the reader in the dark until the twist. My first love in reading is mystery/suspense. So I tend to have that element in my books. (which I have several just not under this pen name. i've published over a dozen books.)

Yeah--The past/present was Terri's idea. It was the only way I would do the book. I wouldn't ever write my story as it was for many reasons but when Terri came up with this idea, I said I would do it.

And I LOVED the idea because I write mainly rom suspense. So this totally appealed to me. It also kind of took my mind off--for a little while anyway-- what was happening in the story. It would divert my attention so to speak.

I listen but not while writing, I have SERIOUS ADD, LOL so if I listen while I write, I start to type the lyrics, haha! It doesn't work to well for me, lalala! But I DO get inspired by music.
