Nine Princes in Amber
question
Help Get The Series Digitized - Thanks

In the mood to re-read the Chronicles of Amber series again. Have been in SF reading mode lately. Lots of YA vampire shifter paranormal stuff out there. Have had a bit too much or that. Surprised none of the series has been digitized yet used to reading that way now. So if you enjoyed the series as much as I did growing up go to the Amazon page and request that it be put on Kindle. Thanks! (Toward Bottom of Page) http://amazon.com/Great-Book-Amber-Co...
It would be great to see Zelazny's works digitized and made available in some sort of ebook format. He's one of my favorite authors and I would love to be able to carry his works around with me on my ipad. I think the stumbling block here is the publisher.
Zelazny's works are new enough to still be under copyright, but (but, according to my understanding) are old enough that in most cases digital master copies do not exist. The process of producing a digital copy is a time/money issue that the publisher presumably doesn't think they'll see a return on.
It seems quite strange to me that even his most famous works like Lord of Light, Jack of Shadows, and the The Chronicles of Amber haven't been made available in this format.
Zelazny's children apparently have no creative control over his intellectual property at this point in time.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please do not contact me regarding my father's work at this time. I have very little to no say, and neither I, nor my brother or sister, receive much in the way of financial compensation from the estate. Asking me about rights, or asking me to put you in touch with "the right people", is basically rubbing salt into painful wounds. If things change, this note will be taken down, but until then, please be courteous, and understand that asking me about such things will not only not get you anywhere, but it is also offensive and disrespectful. Thanks.

I have ebook editions of all ten Chronicles of Amber books. They must exist somewhere. Off the top of my head, I don't recall where I got them.
I have most of the Amber series' in book format.
Which I'm prepared to sell. As I am any other duplicates I have of Roger's better works.
They are real books, however, and priced accordingly.

This has come up on Amazon as well - the contact for Zelazny's estate is Pimlico Agency, Inc.

A phone number and email address for the agency are available, wasn't sure how much anti-spam harvesting if any Goodreads has so didn't post those here.
