Has anyone hosted a twitter chat before? I so, how did it go?

And, would there be a group of writers, bloggers and readers interested in joining a twitter chat?

I've never hosted one but I'd definitely be interested in one. I'm always on Twitter, I think it would be productive and fun.

Excellent. There are a few people interested, so far. I will send out the details including time, topic, and hashtag to use as we get closer to when we'll run it. I'm thinking next week sometime.

All right, how about Sunday, 2PM EST (which is 7PM GMT). We will run for about an hour. The hashtag #indiewrite isn't used much, so we can go with that.

Are there any topic suggestions? Not that we have to stick specifically to one topic.

Also, if you can advertise this one your twitter feed, that would be great! I'm @TheNitzsch, if you'd like to connect on Twitter beforehand.

I've never heard of a Twitter Chat (or Wattpad), but it sounds interesting (have just followed you on Twitter).

I followed you back. The only thing that you need to remember for a twitter chat is to use the hashtag every time, which is #indiewrite. Using tweetchat.com is also very helpful.

Yes it is. I'm at work on Monday, but will try play hooky for an hour!
