Davin | 25 comments What book on the list do you recommend most to people when they find out that you're an avid reader? My go to is usually The 13 Clocks it's so weird and imaginative, and was a favorite growing up. I think it says a lot about my taste and sensibilities.

Plus it's a really quick read, and even people who aren't really readers seem to enjoy it. It is, after all, a children's book.

Jamie | 21 comments I recommend Middlesex most often I think. But I also really love One Hundred Years of Solitude. For recommendations to other avid readers who have probably already heard plenty about these two, my go-to is Fall on Your Knees.
