So sorry, Amber, for your loss. That's really sad. You'll have lots of good memories I'm sure.

Got to visit 27 states with my company and then retired but have done 8 European countries, Mexico and a few islands here and there. Maybe I'll do more some day but the novelty wore off. Hope you get them all!

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) | 694 comments thanks Doodlepanda and that's okay and thanks Janet and DianeAlice. I had lots of good memories and happy times for having her for only 4 years. I cried this morning about it.

Amber, I am so sorry you lost your dog today. To us animal people, losing a pet is just like losing a kid as our animals are our kids. If she was sick or in pain, know that she is now free of her illness and discomfort. Your girl was so lucky to have had you, Amber, as it's clear you you really loved her. Because of that she will always be with you and will live forever in your heart.

MN Chris

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Amber - Hey. Chin up. Remember all the memories you made with Ziva and know that she is now with the Angels looking down at you nodding her head. You don't want her to see you sad, right?

message 460: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) | 694 comments no I don't and I will Dips. thanks. We just have to bury her later and I'll end up crying again.

message 461: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ Amber - Cry your heart out. No shame in that. You cry only when you feel. Grieve as you should. Just don't forget to smile once in a while along with the tears.

Not as productive as it should be. Keep getting distracted! How are you, DP?

message 476: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda I'm ok! Just got home from work and had dinner. Very tired though, which makes me a bit grumpy... But I'll try to keep that to myself :)

message 481: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Daniel wrote: "Just kidding, if you need to vent, get things off your chest, or purge, just let it all out."

Careful what you ask for :p

Lol, nah, there is nothing to vent really, just tired. Which makes my life seem worse then it really is.

But as soon as Friday comes and I go away I'll be a happy bunny, so it's all good really :)

message 482: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Nah, I am a good listener, very attentive and....oooh, look, something shiny!

Kristy Roland (kristyroland) | 153 comments @ Doodlepanda, my neighbor is from Norway. I forgot where because I can't pronounce it. I'll ask him again though(for the third time)and let you know. My husband is supposed to go there with him next summer, and he's excited.

message 489: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) I do a lot of pecking.

message 490: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda @Kristy - Good reason to be excited, it's very pretty here :)
(though I'm sure everybody says that about their country...)
Only real downside is that a lot of things are expensive. Let me know if you find out where he's from! I'm near Trondheim, which is pretty much in the middle (if you look at it north-south)

message 491: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) | 694 comments Hey doodlepanda, I'm doing okay. Just miss my dog ziva. Other than that, I'm trying to feel better.
