A Good Thriller discussion

So what is everyone up to? I've been working today so just relaxing with youtube and goodreads before bedtime :)

I am just chilling and going to do some reading later.

I was thinking of reading a bit too. Doing a book of horror short stories at the moment. They are ok, but not scary. But then I'm never freaked out by horrors :( Not sure why I keep reading them! LOL

Oh okay. You are reading mine doodlepanda and its a YA horror fantasy. :)I read horror like other books cuz its entertaining. I do it for escapism and inspiration.

Yea I like them and so i keep reading them, I just keep looking for one to freak me out a little as I feel that is kinda the point :)

Stephen King is pretty freaky. :)

Okay just did the first exercise I've done in years. 40 minutes of intense core and cardio. I am totally wiped out >.<

We can be workout buddies together! Keep each other motivated ;) I absolutely hate running but love tennis so hopefully when it's a bit less cold I can do out and start playing tennis again too. I will shed these pounds. I will. It's the healthy eating part I struggle with :( I like food too much.

Stephen King can definitely freak me out. I like the way he sets his scariest stuff during the day. Well, I do now that I don't live across the road from a cane-field anymore and think: 'Malakai!' every time I look out the window though! ha ha
It takes a LOT to freak me out. Richard Laymon used to be my favourite horror writer, but his stuff always made me feel more uncomfortable than terrified.
Dean Koontz relentless scared the b-jeebas out of me! I was listening on audio while driving a highway in the middle of the night for 8 hours straight and everyone was asleep so I felt all alone. Same scenario with 77 Shadow Street *Shivers* So much worse on audio in the dark!

Just got home from the basketball court and playground with the kids. Momma is tired. About to make dinner now. Then baths, books, and bed!!

I hear you Lorrea, I just got back from an hour drive to my little one's soccer game, no making dinner though, it's feeling like a Chinese takeout Sunday night :)

Aww. I'm sorry you are annoyed DoodlePanda. :( I'm doing okay. Started on the final Kingdom Keepers book today called the Insider which is pretty good thus far but am sad that the YA Disney series by Ridley Pearson ends with this book. It's a good series. Other than that, still working on chapter 9 of the AF serial which I hope to finish before I have to post it on Friday, got a artist going to read it soon who is a horror artist that goes by the name of G. Edwin Taylor which you can check out here http://www.gedwintaylor.com so I hope he enjoys it too, can't wait for Promocalypse zombie prom coming up and MTAC (my first anime convention that my sister wanted me to go with her to) so they both should be fun. Everyone's got their outfits for it so all we need now is zombie makeup and fake blood.

And I'm not that annoyed really. Just got a message from an author that felt he needed to comment on me giving his book a 1 star review. I thought it was very unnecessary and a little rude. Moving on :)

BTW, what would you do if you woke up to be covered in a pink and blue cotton candy fog? was just curious. It's kind of one of my ideas to start Chapter 9 of my AF serial. I was even suggested to delve into NightShade's past and do a backstory on him. Just having a little trouble starting it. ^_^ LOL. need to listen to my mp3 player to find some songs to inspire me too.

First I would be a little confused. And then eat? :D Lol

My stupid brother is having a sleepover with two of his friends, and they all decided to be so loud that they woke me up at 2am after I finally got to sleep at a decent time.

I'm going to kill them.

Sorry for my absence. Kids and hubby are home this week for spring break. So my appearance here will be brief the next few days.

Over Easter weekend I have some cousins and their mum and Dad, my favourite Auntie and Uncle.

So I will be a little quiter on here, they arrive on Thursday.

But will try to pop in.

I hope you guys have a great easter weekend too. Excited to go to MTAC though more people are going with my sister and I so it may be stressful.

You do if you are doing the cosplay contest which is on Saturday, DianeAlice. Since I'll be going on the last day, I prob won't as their costume contest is day before and they won't have much to do on the final day which is Easter except for Movies, Mario Kart wii videogame tournament, panels, and a noodle contest. ^_^ I know when I went to the Nashville comic con expo last year, I went on a Saturday and they had made everyone put their costumes on inside the hotel as they wouldn't let you wear the costume into the con and at that at the Gaylord opryland hotel.

Yeah I will DianeAlice am going to dress up at Promacalypse coming up on the 26th in a dress, zombie makeup and fake blood. And yeah, I'm letting my sister do the ramen eating noodle contest! :) LOL. I just hope I can do the Michael Jackson thriller dance and the time warp.

Ok and thanks DianeAlice. I know here in TN in the spring is the zombie prom in Nashville and then in the fall down there around Halloween is a zombie 5k run where you have to get through the zombies if you are a human or if you are a zombie you tag people by infecting them. It's pretty fun but they both cost money.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA my ereader broke last night. Off to be repaired as of today... I guess this gives me a chance to get through the mountain of paper books sitting atop my shelves.
