They refuse me if I mention this book club."
I've seen other reviews that mention NetGalley, and I've had some of my review accepted with NetGalley mentioned. I know others have as well. It's not consistent. I did leave it out for a while and had no issue, however.

Wait, Sean, they don’t want you to mention Goodreads? Don’t they OWN Goodreads? I would think it would help them sell MORE books!

Jean, Sometimes the title of the book, if you put it in your review, can trigger a rejection. I read a western called Hell's Jaw Pass and included the title in my review. It was rejected. Once I removed the title, it was accepted. Sometimes it's small things.

Do you think it was that title, though, because of the word “hell”?
I mean, they rejected my Catherine Ryan Hyde Life, Loss, Puffins, and there’s nothing wrong with that title, is there? The thing that bugs me is that they just send the policy, and you’re supposed to figure out what to fix. Makes me think it’s AI-generated or something.
I just looked up another review that I recently posted: Rednecks. I had my usual statement about an ARC, NetGalley, etc. They posted it! So what the heck???!!!

Absolutely, they rejected my review because of "Hell's" in the title. That was the only change I made and they accepted it. There's nothing wrong with the title that I see for your book.
The only possible items I see in your review are "Ru" which they could interpret as a foreign word (Sanskrit or Mandarin),
CRH (unknown how they would interpret it),
or your last paragraph. I've never had a problem with the following type of disclosure:
Lake Union Publishing and Catherine Ryan Hyde provided a complimentary digital ARC of this novel via Net Galley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Other than that, I didn't see any possible ways they could have misinterpreted your review.

I altered my review of OYE on both Amazon and Goodreads but not NetGalley. The revision was accepted. I may don’t remember if I left any Spanish phrases in there, but heck, OYE is Spanish!

I altered..."
I'm glad you got it resolved.

More will come, Sean. The group has been steadily growing. I'm looking forward to the Q&A with J.B. Turner. He's an author that I've only read a couple of books in the Jon Reznick series, but I want to read more of them. I also have a couple of books on my kindle in 2 of his other series (Deborah Jones and Jack McNeal) that I haven't gotten to yet. Thanks for all you do for the group.
Today Q and A's.
Please do go in the post some questions.
A top author is spending his valuable time on our group.

Well many of you may have noticed more television and film reviews lately.
Well I have not played sport for a month now.
Resting is hard when you enjoy a hectic life with sports, charities.
Suffering really from over playing, and suffering badly.
Three tears in my right thigh, left thigh, right glut, also have muscle Rigidis (every muscle in your body feels like concrete, all tightened up), this also effect blood flow which effects diabetes.
Which causes Diabetic Explosions, not nice at all.
But also reading more, catching up on a lot of series, and films.
All the housework, washing etc... no walking, no gardening.
But cannot complain my St Johns Ambulance patient has a stroke last week, while in the UK, still there but recovering from the stroke at the age of 94 years old( well in January as he reminds me).

We all have to admit sometime that we're getting too old, Sean. Time to ease down, take up bowls.
BTW, has anyone written about the new idea of Goodreads not automatically sending group messages via emails? I think it will make a huge difference that we now have to go and search for blogs. Is it that Amazon are trying to get authors to pay to advertise their books with them instead of listing them to the hundreds of friends here?
