Hello,

My name is Corinne, I am a reader from Paris.

I read optimistic and constructive books. These books accept that, in this world, there are and will be problems always, over which we have little control. But, within those constraints, we can still do our best to embrace life, and construct something meaningful out of it. It's this notion of 'ne pas laisser faire' (not letting others do it for us), but we taking proactive charge of our emotions, that I find optimistic, and even romantic.

My favorite books leave me with a sense of lightness and freedom in my heart.

I mainly read books from small press.

I look forward discussing good books with you all.
