Do you have a sharp eye for catching even the most minor errors when you read? I need your help!
I've recently completed a book, and I've edited it as a final draft, but I suspect that there are still minor typo or punctuation errors which I've overlooked after having read my own writing too many times over. Maybe one every twenty pages or so.
I need fresh eyes to help make the book totally error-free!
It's a genre-mashup thriller with a pretty significantly re-imagined version of zombies. (It's also sexually explicit.) It's been listed on Goodreads for over a month, and the reviews/ratings so far are pretty positive, so I hope it wouldn't be too much of a chore to proofread. It moves fast, it's suspenseful, readers are finding the concept to be excitingly original, and they're saying that they're hooked throughout.
If you have sharp eyes, and the book sounds interesting, please email me at [email protected]. I'm hoping to get four or five proofreaders to make sure all the errors are caught. I'd send you a Word document along with the ebook, and I'd ask only that you "underline" any errors you spot in the word document version. That way I can search for underlined text and correct the master copy. I wouldn't expect ratings or a review, just a proofread, though of course if you wanted to leave a review too, that would be totally fine.
