34%: (view spoiler)[ The first part of this book was super duper confusing... I didn't know what the hell was going on. This second part is better explained but I'm still finding the whole thing pretty boring. I wish something exciting would happen. My friend told me she read this book and hated it and I feel like I will probably be the same. (hide spoiler)]

67%: (view spoiler)[ I'm thinking this is going to be a 2 star read. It isn't awful but I'm not all that interested in the story. I'm curious as to what will really happen when he gets to whoever Mercury is. I wonder if there will be some sort of plot twist and Mercury is actually his mother or someone related to him. I think that Nathan will meet his father by the end of the book. (hide spoiler)]

89%: (view spoiler)[ Yup, I had a feeling that Mercury would end up being related to Nathan in some way. I also don't have a very good feeling about Annalise being there. While they have a cute short relationship, I feel like she might do anything to get back in the council's favour. I hope she doesn't end up being bad but I think she will be. (hide spoiler)]

Done: (view spoiler)[ This as quite dull, to be honest. While I didn't hate anything about it I also didn't like anything. I thought the whole thing was pretty "meh" and I didn't feel anything for Nathan, Annalise, Rose, Gabriel, or anyone really. I thought the plot was okay but the way it was portrayed could've been much better and more gripping. Unless I read that the next book is much better (or I see it for really cheap) I probably won't read the next one. (hide spoiler)]

I'm going to read this tonight! I got a copy from the library rather than buy it because I've seen some bad reviews D:

Part One The Trick: Okay....Third person writing always weirds me out a bit

Part Two: (view spoiler)[ I don't care for the ending of this section, like I don't want to know that you peed yourself...I get it's to add dramatic affect but it'sa bit too morbid, he had a sucky life though (hide spoiler)]

I agree although I didn't notice it as much with the other bigger stuff going on. But now that I think of it there WAS very little magic for a witch book. O.o

Hopefully it's not too bad for me then. I did just read the first one so unless it's a lot different I think I can at least get through it if not completely enjoy it. :P
