Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I need some clarification on the NAB'ing of items that have been shelved and don't have a book to merge into.

In the Librarian Manual it is clear how to:
- NAB when an item is not shelved (easy, click Not-a-book)
- NAB when shelved and there is a book to merge into (merge, recreate, NAB)

All maps on this author profile https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... are maps and have been shelved.
There is no book to merge into. Should these be deleted, isbn recreated and NAB'ed? Or something else?

Personally, I would just merge (carefully) that author with NOT A BOOK.

I had deliberately kept these maps apart, on a different author profile. I'll check again before merging author into NOT A BOOK.
