If I Stay discussion

In this chapter I was just introduced to Mia's best friend, Kim. The dialogue in this chapter has taught me a lot about Kim. For example, "Every summer, she goes to Jewish sleep away camp in New Jersey. It's called Camp Torah Harmonium, but Kim calls it Torah Wh*re, because all the kids do all summer is hook up." This shows that Kim has a good sense of humor. Another quote is, "Stop it!" Kim demands. "If I'm not crying, there's no f*ck*ng way you're aloud to"... Kim never curses. So this shocks me." This shows that Kim loves her friend, but is staying strong. Also, this quote says that she normally is well behaved (because she never curses). The dialogue in this chapter reveals character.
