This may not work in the slightest but thought I'd give it ago...

So this is a "write a sentence" of the story type game, and as we are a sci fi and fantasy group why don't we try and sci fi it!

I'll start it off, then the next person writes a sentence continuing, and so on and so on...



Walking through the still desert land, Dameter quietly considered his options whilst watching the two moons rise through the sky.

He had just left his Betrothed

Who was a half-ogre woman of the night with a lazy eye.

She was leaving with a caravan in the morning and wanted him to come with him.

But the ancient prophecy had warned him of tge caravan of the lazy eyed woman.

(sci-fi half ogres... this could get interesting)

So Dameter continued pondering what the morning would bring, when an unusual glint in the night sky caught his eye.

The glint circled, moving quickly over the dessert sands and as it came closer Demeter recognised the flickering lights of a search sentinel.

He activated his gun and stepped into the shadows of a desert Growth.

As the sentinel approached, he clutched his gun to his chest in anticipation, thinking to himself "how did they find me here, of all the planets in the galaxy?"

He thought he had left that part of the galaxy far behind, He figured maybe they had no idea what it takes to make a new identity.

He was lucky, the sentinel passed and he remained unnoticed, but he knew that once again his past had come back to haunt him and the misery that was his life had returned.

Looking at the brands on his wrists he knew if he just kept running, someday he might be able to make it far enough to go unrecognised.

Today, however, he had a more imminent need.

Facing the giant, spiky plant, Dameter relieved himself with the strength of a domestic Baghu.

He knew that it would take more money and resources to get off of this planet than he could get a hold of.

He grimaced as he zipped his pants. Perhaps he would be following the caravan after all.

He turned and made his way back to the settlement. At least Dala would be happy he was joining the caravan and if he hurried to the nightclub she may never even know he had tried to leave.

Dala watched Dameter from the window of the her wagon, she knew he was planning something.

Inside the nightclub, the Bleached Man sat sprawled in a booth, his ivory skinned, three metre frame dominating the room.

He had been waiting a while, smudging a drop of spilled beer across the gritty surface of the table when the side door squeaked open.

As Dameter entered, silence briefly spread across the club, but the patrons quickly returned to their drinks and cards.

The rumor was, that the Bleached Man had a speciel job for Dameter - a dangerous job, that was best discussed in darkness and one it would be unwise to refuse.
