Kaitlyn Santos This book is filled with conflict! On pretty much every 5-10, there has been a new conflict. One conflict is when the crazy people from Deedees old village come and try to kill Mark and Alec. They tried to burn them in the fire. This is an external conflict because it is Man v.s Man. It is Mark and Alec v.s. the people from Deedees village.
