Completed 1/10

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer - 3 stars

message 137: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 5832 comments What did you think of Into the Wild? I read that this month as well.

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

I overall enjoyed Into the Wild. I liked hearing about the adventures chris/Alex had. I however didn't like how the author included things I didn't feel were important in the novel, like paragraphs about other adventures who died in Alaska too. Or how the author tried to compare himself with Chris/Alex.

message 139: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Dalphin (zetarose) | 35 comments Updated message 85 with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling. 3/15

message 140: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 5832 comments Monique, that was my feeling too. It felt like there maybe wasn't enough material for a book, so he stuffed it with some random anecdotes (which I actually thought were fairly interesting, but not related at all).
