Bec | 1337 comments Slowly adding to my list and moving a few things around. I read What the dead know for my set in a different continent book but decided to change it to the A book with one of the five W's in What! Won't be hard to get a different continent given I'm in Australia.

Bec | 1337 comments Ok completely out of order but 6 down!

Bec | 1337 comments Hi Annika, I really enjoyed all the bright places. It was an easy to read story on a serious topic. Have you read it? I thought it definitely had a 'the fault in our stars' feel, along with a bit of DUFF.

I'm looking forward to the maze runner. Ice read a few comments about numbers 2 and 3 not being as good. Maybe i will skip them

Bec | 1337 comments Oh thanks Janice, good idea!!

Bec | 1337 comments Okay another move for What the Dead know. It's now moved to the crime category, as I received the book What Comes of Eating Doughnuts With a Boy Who Plays Guitar free to review, so figured I may as well try and fit it into the challenge. It fits under the food category but the one I have for that category (Cake Icing, Butt Budder & Tea Lids sounds funny, so I figured it can go under the - A book with one of the five W’s -or H in the title category, so What the dead know had to move again!

Bec | 1337 comments So my list keeps changing as I keep getting books to review, and then they are awesome and I need to read the next in the series! I read Ghost, the second in the plagued series, which I could fit into the book set in the past, but....I've had the The Poisoned Pilgrim on my kindle for a long time and I think if I keep putting it off it will never get read. So I'm putting Ghost as a side read. The second in the Gem City series (after What comes of eating doughnuts with a boy who plays guitar) I'm putting down as set in another continent. I had to bump out one I already owned on kindle for this, but I think it will be worth it :)

Bec | 1337 comments I'm currently reading the wonderful wizard of Oz. It's different to the movie!

Bec | 1337 comments Wow - struggled through Sophie's Choice. I started on 18th April and didn't finish until last night 7th May. I think that's the longest I've ever taken to read a book. I did not enjoy it one bit.

Bec | 1337 comments Just took a little side read whilst I participated in a Slip marathon....ok that's finished so back to ATY books!

message 12: by Bec (new)

Bec | 1337 comments Finished Sin and Desire as a book you are embarrassed to read in public. Wow it was pretty bad. Sex and the same stuff over and over (partner swapping, 2 blokes 1 girl etc).

If I go by my ratings I gave 5 stars to Assassin's Apprentice (and the rest in the trilogy), Grip (I also gave 5 stars to the rest of the trilogy but didn't read that for the challenge) and Rogue.
And lots I gave 4 stars to! I read a lot of good books this year...and some not so good books too.
