Just here to introduce my novel in it's fantasy hat :-)
I write cross-genre, but fantasy is one of the main aspects of my debut novel, Murder in-absentia. It's subtitled as "a story of Togas, Daggers, and Magic", though when I have the space I refer to it as a "fantasy murder mystery, with an historical slant and a dash of horror, told like a noir detective" (phew :).
Basically - a murder mystery, in a fantasy world based on ancient Rome, told as a first-person hardboiled detective is making sense of the magic that killed a young man. It has a lot of references to ancient Roman culture - from fish sauce to gladiatorial games, but is set in it's own unique fantasy setting.
If I haven't lost you so far... I'm running a give-away now for an autographed copy (click the book link above). I also routinely run countdown deals on Amazon, but any one honestly interested in reviewing it can also contact me directly and I'll happily send you a review copy.
Would love to hear what you think of such cross-genre mash-ups!
