That sounds familiar--I always have at least 2 books and an anthology going at a time. I only take time out for BETA reads. I have a few group reads coming up soon that I'm really looking forward to, so the first week or two of January will be reserved for those. (I DO have The Croning, however, and have been looking for an "excuse" to bump it up in the pile. ;) ).

Have read 16 previously. Have already read one this year, The Mist, and my goal is 15. Have changed my total book goal for the year to 75. Hoo boy.

Update (1/29): After reading The Haunting of Hill House, now at 2/15. 9/75 total. Good start?

Update (3/30): With The Terror, have now read 3/15. Need to get in gear, but my total books are at 26/75, which is much better.

You have a fine list. I'm always pleased to read all these lists from members of HA because I learn about so many titles that I haven't heard about before. I've only read 2 from your list: Exorcist Road and Sunblind. Both are gripping reads.

Thanks, Anthony! I am definitely looking forward to them then. I've read so many great books from suggestions here over the years. HA is a valuable resource for horror fans, that is for sure.

Sunblind was the best book I read in 2014, and one of the best things Michael McBride has written (and that is saying something). Enjoy!

Exorcist Road is on my list this year, and if I enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed Wolf Land, which I just finished, it'll be a hit! :-)

SUNBLIND was my number 1 read last year, as well--of over 225 books/anthologies. :)
