Hi everyone,
I'm going to skip on the point calculation today and hope to get to it on the weekend.
But I have an announcement to make.
There was already some speculation about a challenge next year and I wanted to give you the roadmap for that.
Unfortunately my personal time got less and less this year and there were weeks where I barely got to the calculation or had to pass on it.
So I had to face the hard truth that I won't be able to host the challenge next year myself. But luckily we have a very inspired and loayal member of the community that has kindly offered to host the challenge next year.
So, without further ado, I'll pass the torch to Wayland and look forward to his challenge (I already know the theme^^) and know that the challenge will be in good hands.
And of course I like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of you who have participated in the challenge over the last couple of years and made it so much fun. :)
And of course I'm joining the challenge as a participant next year.

And on that note, two things:
1) Thanks, MPauli, for trusting me with this. I hope I don't screw it up.
2) Just to give people time to mull their choices over, I will say the teams are Justice League of America vs. Teen Titans, and I'm going for the more obscure members of both. So... start pondering.
Presuming I get anywhere near the turnout MPauli has, this should be fun.

And thank you Wayland for picking up the torch! Can't wait for next year's challenge list.
Seconded Kate! It has been a great challenge to be part of and really helped me to pick out books from my to read list that otherwise I would have spent days deciding between. Not to mention all the books I've loved that I would never have looked at without this challenge!
Can't wait for next years Wayland! Def. will be signing up!

Wayland - look forward to see what you dish out. Bring it on!!! :D

Thanks Mpauli, I really enjoyed the challenge so thank you for organising and running it. Looking forward to the next challenge Wayland!

And thanks Wayland, for stepping up so that we can continue on.
First of all, thank you SO MUCH to Mpauli for hosting this challenge for the past few years! It has been an excellent addition to the group and has certainly inspired me to really look around for my reading in some cases, or pushed me to finally get to books that had been on my shelves for ages. :)
And Wayland, thank you as well for stepping in Mpauli's shoes so that we can continue to take part in this fun challenge! I'm looking forward to this new theme (that I know nothing about, I must confess!). Time to do my research...

MPauli thank you so much for putting so much time and effort in over the years, and creating such an awesome amount of fun for so many of the members! It's a great way to inspire ones reading, and I'm sure it'll be fun to be on the other side of the fence :)
Yay Wayland! Thanks for taking over, I am looking forward to actually having some time and motivation to get back to reading, can't wait to see what you've got in store for us :D

Thank you Pauli so much for being our challenge master. There are so many books that I read only because they fit in the challenge. It really broadened my reading. Wayland, I think you'll be an awesome challenge master. I'm really looking forward to next year. :)

Wayland, thanks for picking up the standard. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for 2017.

"Mind" in title. 3/3 for Dormammu
Dormammu defeated!
All villains defeated!
How appropriate using a Sherlock Holmes book to finish defeating all my villains. Dormammu! I have NOT come to bargain!

I have a question. Can The Bad Beginning count for the Alana/ Hazel's Mother challenge? The pov character is the sister (but care taker) of an infant because the mother died. It seems like it honors the spirtit of the challenge.
