WOOHOO!!! I'm up to 40 books so far! Just finished Steelheart and loved it! Sanderson has to be The King of Metaphors. I think "...dryer full of epileptic monkeys..." is my favorite. That'll be hard to top.@Susan... Just saw your post! Yes, I LOVED The Bad Luck Wedding Dress! The "menaces" were such a riot! Geralyn Dawson/Emily March is one of my favorite authors!

For Strictly Business- could I use cowboy/rodeo rider- hat, boots, whole 9-yards?- since for a rodeo it is the guys job and he does have to wear it? as the cowboy is also a rancher- owns and runs so he has to wear those close to deal with the live stock?

construction worker?

they are all wearing regular jeans, shirts, etc. If they have a specialized job that requires specific clothing, such as a ship's welder who has to wear burn-proof clothing, that would be okay.

Hi! Do they have to currently be in uniform? Or can they be on vacation or on ex-something? Also what about a scientist? They kinda wear a uniform lol.

Currently in uniform. If they are on vacation but still serving, that's okay, but no longer wearing the uniform, no.
Scientist I'm a little iffy on. I don't really think of them as uniformed, unlike a doctor or nurse.

Hmmm - I suppose, since a hard hat is required, it could be considered part of a uniform. I guess that will work ;-)

Okay, thanks! Well if they are a full blown scientist...they would wear a lab coat like a doctor...kinda like an nerdy uniform ;-)

You are right about that. If their work as a scientist is a big part of the story, that could make it acceptable.

They are actively building a house so the hard hat is required!

Looks like everyone is doing well with their reading!I just wanted to let everyone know that I may be slow answering questions over the next month or two. My husband and I are in the midst of a big move (Virginia to Germany) and after Sept 1 my internet access may be limited until we get settled.
