'Official' meaning not composed by us readers, but by a company, magazine, website etc.

I've just found this one from Sci-Fi Now magazine. I've read 2 of them, and have 12 of them on my 'to read' list.

What other lists have you spotted around the Internet, particularly those relating to SFF?

I've only read one there. I've a few on the shelves though.

Andreas | 106 comments Does the SFWA's list count as official? Anyways, here it is. The good thing about it: It not only contains novels but also novellas, novelettes and short story recommendations.

Definitely! I'll take a look at that, no doubt it will increase my 'to read' list ;)

Andreas | 106 comments The Locus Recommended Reading List is usually posted at February 1st of the following year, so we will have to wait a bit for that one.
Just as a side-note, here is the category. I found it very helpful the last years.

I'll be scared the day it stops growing, to be honest... then we know the apocalypse is nigh.

Josh | 17 comments Here is a handy guide to Goodreads' top picks. If you pick a genre at bottom, you'll see how the books compare in avg. ratings, etc. Hover over the charts to explore! http://public.tableau.com/profile/jos...

Andreas | 106 comments You asked for it? You get it! Sorry for another of those lists. This time, it is Kirkus Reviews with

Dark Orbit, The Library at Mount Char,Lightless, the omnipresent Ancillary Mercy, the second part of the three-body problem The Dark Forest, a collection by Mieville Three Moments of an Explosion: Stories, a steampunk The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, my beloved Aurora, sitting on my physical shelf Chasing the Phoenix, another anthology Sisters of the Revolution: A Feminist Speculative Fiction Anthology, and The Affinities

I think the only one I found this year is the Amazon one I already posted. Good thread though.

My go-to list is normally the one by Fantasy Fiction: http://fantasy-faction.com/2015/fanta...

I haven't read any of those. I have a copy of Uprooted, which I won in a First Reads giveaway, but I haven't got to it yet.

I haven't read any of those or have them on my TBR (yet).

I rely on these two sites myself:
bestfantasybooks.com and
bestsciencefictionbooks.com.
