I plan to finish Jojo Moyes - Me Before You~~

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) | 2176 comments I keep seeing that book pop up in conversations. I think it's time to add it to my TBR list.

Emily Grace (emilygrace) I've never heard of Me Before You; I'll have to check it out! I'm starting with Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson but it's very long so I may not finish it first!

apparently there is a sequel to the book, Lori! I read it so quick but ended up not recommending it to people who read Me Before You. Kinda messed what I imagined about the ending and live of the characters afterwards...
You may want to try to read it Em :) I'm currently reading Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn and liking it! How about you on Words of Radiance and Warbreaker?

Kadijah Michelle (kadmich) | 2176 comments Emily Grace, how are you enjoying the books you have read so far?

message 17: by Emily Grace (new)

Emily Grace (emilygrace) Kadijah: I really loved both Brandon Sanderson books; in fact I just started Mistborn! I also really liked The Prophecy Con. The Medieval Women book was interesting but a little thin; I would have liked even more on each person discussed, but they definitely discussed some women I was unfamiliar with! I'm a little torn on Gardens of the Moon. The plot was sort of interesting but the writing style was a little opaque & completely humorless. That's the first book in a series that a friend recommended to me. He says the next one is better so I may read the second book before I decide to quit the series.

Emily Grace (emilygrace) 6) Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson

Cassandra | 5832 comments Good luck with your challenge!

Did you like Words of Radiance more or less than The Way of Kings? I should finish up The Way of Kings later today.

message 20: by Emily Grace (new)

Emily Grace (emilygrace) Cassandra:
I think I liked Words of Radiance just a little more; mostly because Sanderson had the world mostly established & he can just jump right into the story. Shallan in particular gets a really great arc!

message 21: by Cassandra (new)

Cassandra | 5832 comments Awesome! I like both Shallan and Kaladin, but it definitely felt like Kaladin dominated the first book.
