Read the first book. I liked the first series better so far. But maybe it is just that the cast is completely different with only vague references to Christy and friends. I got too used to them. I have barely started (as in 2-3 pages in) . Sorry, still planning to read bit joining a bit late. And might be a bit slow as a series whole. But I will work on it this weekend.

Finally finished book 1. (view spoiler)[I think Grandma might be (at least partly) pulling on them with the memory lapse. But part real I think too.. (hide spoiler)]

Bk 2- (view spoiler)[I would say taking care of your grandmother in such condition, at such an age is quite the challenge!. (hide spoiler)]

Finished In Your Dreams (2) These need more excitement or challenge. I don't feel the struggle for her at all.

(view spoiler)[I think they are doing alright. Her personality is different fro Christy's quite a bit (heck, I think she is more like Katie) also she is 16 at the start with Christy was 14 so the perspectives for the beginning is different.. (hide spoiler)] BTW-currently on Ch 9

Uh oh. I am liking book 8 so far but the friendship dilemma reminds me of the Christy/Katie one.
