Beppie Harrison | 1 comments The Divided Heart by Beppie Harrison.

It's cross/genre, being partly a historical romance and partly women's fiction: there is romance, but it's also the story of a young English daughter of an aristocrat in 1810 having to decide who she will be. She is coming of age in an Ireland she adores, and unwillingly facing the prospect of being sent off to England for the Season to meet and hopefully marry a wealthy, well-born Englishman. At the same time she meets two men in Ireland: one a enigmatic red-headed Irishman and one a handsome and responsible English marquess, come to Ireland to inherit his uncle's title and property. In the months that come she learns much more about the realities of Ireland and has to decide where she belongs herself--and which of the men she will love.

It's 290 pages, with mild sexual content.

I would appreciate reviews, and would be pleased to supply review copies to anyone interested in reviewing the book.

Marik Berghs | 5 comments Marik Berghs about 450 pages, YA Urban Fantasy Sweet Romance. I am seeking reviews for this first book in my series and will offer advanced reader copies to reviewers for the next three books out in September.

Creatures are dying in the Wildwood where Fae from the Old Countries are joining with the native gods of the New World to protect the last sanctuary for their kind. Side by side with the shifting boundaries of the Forest, lies the isolated town of Thornhill where the townspeople regard the Forest as a cursed place to be avoided except by the foolhardy.

Though Lunabel O'Hara is no fool she’s drawn to the mysteries of the primeval place while she struggles to keep her abilities undercover. Using her voice she can shatter glass, hum in a tone that can melt the fillings in the mouth of a bully or sing in the pure notes of a siren's song. She recognizes the hidden meanings in people's words and remembers any sound she’s ever heard. But her hard won persona of normalcy is threatened by the attention of a sexy, intriguing stranger. Jeremy Fields is a Fae who straddles two worlds. He maintains a balance between the centuries-old prejudice of his own people and the mortal world where he must win Lunabel's trust and loyalty'

In this saga of blending cultures, realities and the things that are known and not yet known, Jeremy and Lunabel fight their growing attraction to each other. Their feelings must persevere despite taboos, their own reserved personalities and their fears of betrayal.

The insidious danger growing in the forest can only be contained if they combine their talent and the talents of their trusted friends to face the threat together.

Michael Tyger (michaeljt) | 2 comments ShadowRay: Scratching the Surface

If anyone would be interested in reviewing my book, I would really appreciate it. I can send a copy through the mail or a Kindle book version.

ShadowRay: Scratching the Surface is mixed Urban Fantasy/Romance/Mystery and will be the first in a series.

‘ShadowRay: Scratching the Surface’ is the story of an insomniac, sleepwalking girl named Runa, who lives in a small, rural town. She lives in an apartment alone with her cat, above the ‘Bell, Book and Candle’ bookstore, owned by her best friend’s parents. Strange powers seem to be at work in the town. Runa has recurring nightmares that seem to hint at a split personality and she always wakes up on the stoop of her apartment steps, outside the basement door, which she has never opened.
Her psychiatrist helps her deal with these and other issues including her infamous dead father. But something does not seem right about her psychiatrist.
After joining a ladies’ book club she meets Mrs. Weihl, the book club leader and secretly, the most powerful woman in town. For some reason, she has a strange interest in Runa.
If not for the help of a young man named Grant, Runa may never have awakened to the truth behind the city of Zephyr, nor her own importance there. But once she starts to realize the truth, she begins to question everything she knew about her life. The only question that remains is, ‘Will she descend the steps and open the door to the basement?’

My email is [email protected]

Thank You!

Mickey (mickey_corrigan) Hey all:

My new book was released by a small literary press in the UK. Songs of the Maniacs is genre bending, a mix of romantic suspense with contemporary psychological thriller. The publisher calls it neo-noir and the cover reflects that.

Here's a bit about the book. Anyone interested can contact me and I can send a review copy. It's a short novel, only 156 pages.

Thanks!

Who are we when we lose everything, including our personalities? From her office at a mental health institute in the tropics, a troubled young woman counsels deeply disturbed clients while coping with her own heightening concerns. These include frightening consciousness lapses, violent memories of a high school sexual relationship, a menacing stalker, and an annoyingly arousing visitor who may or may not be insane. All this on a single stormy day at a time when a new mental health disorder has become epidemic and is threatening to distort memory and identity, unmooring the validity of reality itself.

A seductive and chilling novella, Songs of the Maniacs takes readers on a fascinating descent into the abyss beneath the lush surfaces of contemporary American paradise.
