Hello,

I will be brief. I am listed as "Monte, Daniel Rivas del" which is wrong as "Rivas del Monte" are my surnames. So my listing name shound be "Rivas del Monte, Daniel".

I already wrote to the goodreads masters regarding this issue, but I got no answer.
Does anybody know if I can change it myself? And how?

No, it is a limitation of GR since there is only one field for author name it is not possible to indicate surname separate to first name

Yes, you can change your PROFILE (top right of the screen) and why not try Rivas-del-Monte OR RivasdelMonte as your surname?

Interesting suggestion, Sophie. I might consider doing it if I don't get an answer from the goodread guys in a few days.

Changes to his user name will not affect how his author name is sorted. And the author name must match his books.

That sounds right, rivka. Too bad, I just got an answer from the goodread people telling me that there is nothing they can do about it whith the current system. Hope they improve that someday.
