Read this a few years back 2000ish, don't know when published.

Girl goes out with a few friends, they all have a few too many drinks, they crash their car? or taxi is in a car crash? She wakes up in a hospital like place and finds that she had been dying and was saved (all people in her life believe she is dead) because she was perfect for an experimental procedure. Various limbs replaced, enhancements made. I think she loved shopping? Shoes? Slightly comedic in places, highly enjoyable read! Think she sneaks out and visits her best friend at a cafe? Just wish I can remember more details, lol! Please, any help greatly appreciated!
