As an aside, if anyone is interested in beta-reading what I've written so far (~50,000 words), I'd be more than happy to beta-read something of yours in return, especially historical fiction.

I am happy to be a part of the group. I love WW2, Civil War and general American history.
I love to read and read about a book per week!

Been on GoodReads for a while now but I've made an early (or is that very late?) New Years resolution to get more active on the forums and to join in the discussions. Hoping to expand my historical fiction horizons too. My personal interest tends more to the military and political rather than the social. Period-wise I tend to gravitate more towards Ancient, Medieval and Early Modern - so Robert Fabbri, Simon Scarrow and Toby Clements feature quite prominently on my Kobo. Looking forward to chatting.
