L.K. Scott | 1 comments My first book was "The Mist in the Mirror" by Susan Hill. Finished it the day after I started. Now I'm reading something a bit thicker, "The Witching Hour" by Ann Rice.

Olivia Cornwell I finished "Dragonology" last night, but that was a super short. I'm working through Storming (my first K.M. Weiland read ;) ) and I'm really enjoying that. But likely I'll finish either "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad or "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen next, as they're for college courses.

Katie Stone | 1 comments My first book of the year is Live Original by Sadie Robertson. I'm also about halfway through The Game by Terry Schott and I think my next read will be The Iliad by Homer.

Juli | 1 comments I just finished reading THE THING ABOUT JELLYFISH... a MG. When writers talk about voice and are wondering how to "capture" voice, the best thing to do is read great examples. This is one of those. It's a quiet book but extremely satisfying at the end.

Govi (4g3dvan1lla) | 14 comments Just finished 'The Atlantis Gene' by A.G. Riddle. I usually have several going at once, so I will probably finish several in the next couple of weeks. On to 'The Meaning of Everything' (Simon Winchester), 'The Rook' (Steven James), 'The Maltese Falcon' (Dashiell Hammett) and something else that I can't remember at the moment.

Cheers!

The Golden Braid is going to be one of the next couple I read! That and Storming. I'm currently reading Curio, by Evangeline Denmark.

My first book of the year was an ARC of Jack, by Chautona Havig. So it won't be on my Goodreads list for a few more weeks!

Mikayla My first book of the year was A Different Kind of Courage by Sarah Holman. I wanted to start off the year with a book I already knew was awesome.

Olivia (olivia_r) I read Jennifer An O'Malley Love Story by Dee Henderson by Dee Henderson on the first. Sweet, but I would definitely recommend reading the O'Malley series first.

Joanne Roberts | 22 comments I started a bunch of new books at once, but the one I finished first was What Happens at Christmas, a romantic comedy. Maybe I'll have to plan better next year to make myself look more academic.
