I read the series and my wish is to have a 8th book which is impossible. haha!

Yes Luna is really good and very UNIQUE character that everyone should notice. Luna is a character that can boost people in real life to be just themselves and ignore what other people might gonna say.
100 points for Ravenclaw! Haha!

*joins Lilly in strangling Umbridge*

It got better for me starting around Christmas. Partly I think it was Sirius singing "God Bless Ye, Merry Hippogriffs" and partly it was Ginny verbally smacking Harry over the head for being so self-involved. "Lucky you." I'd been waiting for someone to do that to him for 300 pages. :-)
In any case, I loved the rest of the book. Except Sirius dying, of course. Oh, and Grawp. Wasn't a huge fan of Grawp.

Ok it's really minor. I realise this. Please don't hate me for nitpicking, because I'm not. It just reminds me that the fabulous person and amazing writer JKR is human, so I'm going to share it with you.
Near the climax of the book, after Umbridge has been taken away by the centaurs and Harry and Hermione meet Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna again. Ron says something like 'what did you see in the fire when talking to find out whether Sirius was there or not?'. But Harry had already told Snape "he's got padfoot in the place where it's hidden" AFTER the fire, confirming Sirius wasn't there, in the presence of Ron, who would've understood the code. Soooooo....
Also, in the beginning, when the 'advance guard' come to pick Harry up, Tonks, Moody and Remus use magic. Now, we know the ministry don't know they're there, as that's why they're not using floo powder, Remus says. But that means the ministry think Harry is the only wizard there, so they would've thought HE performed the magic. So he should've got another letter?
Sorry, if you already noticed these, or it seems pointless. I'm new here.
Other than that, yeah, I liked this book. But it seemed unnecessarily long?

And Arch, I'm not sure what was bothering you about Sirius's botched rescue. What Ron asks is "Harry, what did you find out in the fire? Has You-Know-Who got Sirius or -?"
It seems logical that he'd double check before they fly to the rescue, since he might not have heard Harry correctly, or might have misunderstood the code, or, for all he knows, Harry might have lied to Snape (which Harry does often enough). Yay, Ron, for asking the smart question. (They probably gave that line to Hermione in the movie....)
Here's the response: "Yes," said Harry, as his scar gave another painful prickle, "and I'm sure Sirius is still alive, but I can't see how we're going to get there to help him."
So both times Harry claims that the visions he's seeing are true: Padfoot (Sirius) is in the place (the Department of Mysteries) where it (the prophecy) is hidden. He doesn't find out he's been tricked until too late.
As for the underage magic magic thing... Hmm. Dunno. Never noticed that! And yeah: JKR is very human. Anything to do with numbers? Whew!
