To clarify, there currently isn't a way to fetch a book by its ASIN? For physical books, this isn't a problem as ASIN ~= ISBN, but for eBooks, this isn't the case. Any thoughts on how to approach this?

We don't provide searching by ASIN as we don't have that function in our own app.

You might have some luck with the Amazon public Product Advertising API.
