Michael Brookes (technohippy) I might not have reached my Goodreads target this year, but last year was still a damn fine year for reading and here are my highlights with my Top Five Reads of 2015:

Jurassic Park is awesome
I have The Name of the Wind to read when I get the chance

I tried to do a re-read of the Exorcist but I couldn't get into it. His writing style doesn't do much for me, plus the story was too fresh on my mind from watching the movie, so I'm going to try again later.

Yay, another person who found Lonesome Dove in 2015

I still need to find and read Bird Box, heard so much about it.

I have you to thank for that; so, Thank You! Lonesome Dove is one of those all-encompassing novels. The term "all the feels" really applies to this one. Also, The People Who Eat Darkness is unlike any true crime novel I've read before and has, in my opinion, set the bar high.

When you do, I suggest setting aside how ever much time you think you will need to read it in one sitting because so many people, myself included, find this to be true when reading Bird Box.

I understand what you mean. I was thinking a lot about the movie too actually.
