If you need help figuring out how to do something on Goodreads, post it here and we will try to help you out.

I am going to be the first person to post for help here because I seem to have a mental block on how to make this work.

I want to send an email but instead of it showing the entire link I just want it to have the word here.

I cannot seem to get this to work. Anyone know what I can do to make that work?

Lea Ann (buntingla) | 765 comments You click on the "some html is ok" link and use the second html string that is listed. Instead of where it says "my text link" write whatever word/s you want. I tested it in an email to you because I wasn't sure if that is what I thought it was. lol

I am not doing something right. I tried it twice. The first time it showed the whole link then the words here. The 2nd time I got the work here but it wasn't a blue link, just the word.

I sent the email to you but it didn't work.

I copy the actual link into the part that says "http://www.goodreads.com" and the word "here" in the part that says my link text and it should turn the word here into a link right?

I know this isn't complicated, its rather frustrating that I can't seem to get it.
