Summary:

Louis (Louie) Zamperini was a trouble maker as a teenager, and was frequently brought home by police officers. Fed up with Louie getting in trouble all the time, Louie's brother, Pete, decided to get Louie involved in the school track team. Although Louie hated it at first he soon realized that he was very talented at long distance running. Louie worked hard to improve his talent and soon became an all-star runner who was believed to break the world record in the mile run. Unfortunately World War II began and Louie decided to enlist before breaking this record. The war would test Louie to his limits and see what he was really made of.

Personal Reaction:

This book has got to be one of my most favorite books that I have ever read. It really showed me how much a person can endure if they put all of their will power into it. Louie overcame almost insurmountable odds while involved in World War II, and this helps me to realize that if Louie can do amazing things then I can too. Also, whenever I think that my life is hard I can just think back on what Louie had to go through and it makes my life seem a lot easier. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this book.

Summary:
So Louie Zamperini was always in trouble as a kid then his older brother helped him channel his trouble making into running and it turned out that Louie was really good running he made his high school track team. Then Louie was so good he got to go the Olympics and run the mile for the US. Then one of the worst things happen World War II started and Louie was really pushed to his limits and was really good at flying a plane and I will leave the rest to you, because this book is really one of the best.

Personal Reaction:
I loved this book because one it was a true story and it showed that anyone can acheve their dreams if they work hard to get them. This book also tells the story of how much you and your body can endure in times of high stakes. Louie from what I got is one of the strongest men I have ever read about and I wish I could have had the chance to meet him in life.

Summary: as a young boy Louie zamperini was getting in trouble alot. He would go around and take things that weren't his and he would run away after to not get caught. One day he was at his brothers running meet and doing what he always does, taking stuff that isn't his. He almost got in trouble and got caught. He ran away, but he ran onto the running track and his brother saw it. He then looked at Louie afterwards and suggested to him to start running. His brother pushed him and pushed him to continue running. Years later, he was breaking records and went on to the Olympics. Now I don't want to spoil too much, so I'm going to stop there.
Personal opinion: I really enjoyed this book, I strongly suggest everyone to read it.
