2016 Reading Challenge discussion

I'll be checking out Cinder by Marissa Meyer for this one. Would highly recommend Bitter Greens by Kate Forsyth!

I'm looking at "The True Story of Hansel and Gretel" by Louise Murphy and "Rose Daughter" by Robin McKinley. I'm not much into fairy tale stories but these seemed interesting. Especially the one by Louise Murphy.

I'm going to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire. I'd never heard of him or the book, but it jumped out at from the shelf, so we shall see.

Last year I've read Never Never by Brianna Shrum, based on Peter Pan. I really enjoyed reading it and I would definately recommend reading it.

Found a series based on the Wizard of Oz, the first installment is called Dorothy Must Die. The title definitely grabbed my attention! :)

I just listened to the audio of A Wild Swan by Michael Cunnigham. A great re-telling of well known fairy tales. The twist is the psychological insight behind motivations.

Are you considering it for the Book Club list for 2017?

I don't know anything about that. Is that part of this group?

Not really, but since you liked it I thought you might want our Book Club to read it next year. Just a thought.
