Dawn (dawntice) | 18 comments I my name is Dawn Tice and I have now been regularly reviewing for authors either through their request or through Net Galley for several years. I also, have beta read but prefer this. That being said, if I catch an error I will email you so that you know. I like the following:

Romance, Romantic Suspense, Military Action Romance, Some Paranormal, Suspense and some Thrillers.

If you have a book you would like reviewed and it does not fall within the above categories ask and I will let you know. Please send a blurb with the book title. I read on my kindle so it will need to be sent in that format. Please also let me know your turn around time needed so that I can be sure if I can accommodate you.

Thank you,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,

I just released my debut novel, Rebirth on January 1st. At present, it only has two reviews. I would love another honest review if it interests you.

The description should give you a good overview. It is a science fiction thriller, so it doesn't fall directly into the genres you listed. If you are interested in reading it and providing an honest review, let me know.

Thanks,

David

Catherine Byrne (katarina66) | 38 comments Hi Dawn,
I have recently tried a genre I have not tried before. It's contemporary and a bit of a romance and a bit of psychological suspense. Oh, and it's a novella, so shouldn't take to read.
Song for an Eagle

Haunted by her past, failed folk singer, Beth MacLean,
hadn’t intended to ever return to the remote community
where she grew up.
Yet now, her father’s illness has drawn her back
to the place where dark memories wait.
In this land of mountains, the sceptre of the eagle
which has plagued her dreams all her life, intensifies.
Life and new love is offered through the charismatic James,
but will Beth find the courage to turn her back on her life in Edinburgh and unravel the mysteries that have shaped her nightmares?
And who is the boy in the photograph among her father's effects?

Dawn (dawntice) | 18 comments Hi David, I actually like some science fiction, genetically altered soldiers, that kind of thing. I, however, am not a space fan.

Thanks though.

Dawn

J.A. Hailey | 1 comments Hi Dawn
Yes I have one too - Dune Devils. It is non genre but eventually a thriller. It is a hard to harsh read in parts, and I would like you to go through the existing reviews (on amazon.com & amazon.co.uk) to get a feel for it and to decide if you are comfortable taking it on. It is also hilarious, and devoid of graphic violence and explicit sex.

D.N. Hoxa | 3 comments Hello Dawn,

I just released my romance book yesterday that I think you'll like it
.
Here it is: Once Upon a One Night Stand

and the blurb:
Five friends. Five stories.

Welcome to the LOVER show. Let's begin with L:

Have you ever tried not liking a guy when your best friends decide you should like him? How about if that guy had the sexiest ass on the planet, and was your birthday-cake one-night-stand with icing on top?

London Reeves agrees that three years is a long time to live without sex, but one steamy hot night could never last longer than the morning after. Yet, her four lunatic best friends dissagree on that last one. The voices in her head disagree, too, and even her mother seems to think she's crazy. And sexyass will not take a goddamn no for an answer. Now what exactly is a girl do against that?

Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the copy.
Dori

A.R. Simmons (arsimmons) | 36 comments Hello Dawn.

How about a thriller mashed up with a love story that only has one kiss in it?

I would love to have you consider reviewing it.

Here's a blurb. I will gladly send a mobi copy suitable for your Kindle.

Bonne Femme
Trust Betrayed and Dark Obsession; A Tale of Terror
Three people. Two former soldiers, each with a mission, each waging a campaign. At the center of their conflict is a vulnerable young woman, alone and far from home.
Richard Carter has come back to Cartier trying to pull his life together, while Jill Belbenoit has come to finish her degree. He has seen her on campus, but doesn't know her. When a former squadmate from Somalia, Mic Boyd, turns up unexpectedly and assumes a friendship that never was, Richard allows himself to fall into what he hopes will be only a brief association. The last thing he wants is a reminder of his tour in the famine-racked squalor of Africa.
Mic inserts himself into Jill's life as well as Richard's. As attractive women must do, she has learned to deal with unwanted male attention. Unable to disengage from one man, however, she obligates herself to the other. Now she must navigate out of both relationships. Jill reproaches herself for both her naiveté and her manipulativeness. Soon she will have much greater concerns.
Memories, dreams, and flashbacks torment Richard as he tries to discover if what he fears is real, while Jill must decide if he is only a damaged soldier suffering from PTSD, or dangerously delusional and obsessed with her.
Is his nightmare vision the product of a fevered imagination tortured by his war experience and his guilt? Or does he see what no one else can? Is he averting a horror or perpetrating one?
Where does Jill's real danger lie? Can she trust him? Is the "godforsaken pile of rocks" called Bonne Femme a refuge from peril--or from reality?

Let me know at [email protected]

Diane (rhonda925) | 3 comments Hi, Dawn. Desperately seeking reviews! I've recently launched a paranormal romance-ish novel, which means it has enough sizzle to suit romance fans, but enough of a B-story to keep mainstream readers (and most men) from tossing it aside.

Blurb:

"Paranormal researcher Tania Mosley has a gift. When the dead will speak to no one else, they speak to her.

After she captures the Holy Grail of electronic voice phenomena—a ghost willing and able to have a two way conversation—lines between the living and the dead start to blur. Luke Porter seems inexorably connected to her. A real boy-next-door. He feels like her friend. Acts like her confidante. Knows the names of all her friends. Plays with her cat. Never mind the fact that he’s been buried in a shallow grave for 150 years.

But what keeps a man anchored to a world that has moved on without him? How much emotion—how much anger—would it take to hold him here? Tania is afraid to ask. Afraid to know. Because sometimes the dead won’t stay buried, and the secrets they tell can rip the living apart."

Talking To Luke: Haunting Gets Personal.

Edouard Daunas (edouardadaunas) | 3 comments Dear Dawn, I've recently released my action thriller novel, The Warrior Saint. I'd love your review.
DEA Special Agent T. J. Leukemeyer is down on his luck after a botched mission calls his instincts--T. J.'s greatest asset--into question. Double-crossed by another agent, facing a failing relationship with his longtime life partner and a career that's headed for a desk job, the native Texan accepts a leave of absence from the agency to handle an off-the-record international job: The Brazilians are looking to clean up Rio de Janeiro's dangerous shanties ahead of the Olympics and need an outsider to gain access to the drug cartels that answer to corrupt, untouchable business leaders and politicians. Working undercover with Rio's Military Police, T. J. infiltrates the dark underbelly of the city's privileged elite--from the real-estate mogul and his telenovela-star wife to an interior designer with a passion for fortunetelling. But someone is after him, someone who may know more than they should. As the clock ticks down to the arrival of a major drug shipment, T. J. must walk a tightrope of lies connecting a dead policeman, a rent boy, and a land deal that will change the face of Rio. In a foreign world filled with treachery and shifting loyalties, he can't trust anybody--even himself.
