How many books are you planning to read this year?

200, same as last year.
I belong to several non-reciprocal review groups and some of my books come from there, but I also download and read a lot of free promotion books in many different genres. Seeing other people's styles and what works for me and what doesn't is a never ending quest.

I wish I could participate but I cannot due to two things: 1. I am trying to finish Book 2 of The Brede Chronicles for my publisher and 2. I had a cardiac arrest (dead) last March and was in a coma for a long time and only released home a few months ago. So I'm getting back to normal and working on a semi-deadline!

Shooting for 111. So far I'm being told I'm ahead of schedule :)

I've set my challenge at 200, I'm already about 25% toward my goal. I'll probably raise it if that continues.

Oh boy, you all are so great! I wish I was able to read that many books in a year. This year my goal is 45 and I hope I'll be able to achieve it :)

I think I'l try for 200 as well. I'm reading a book or two daily--I like to keep abreast of what others are doing. (I have lots of time.) The rest of my time I spend writing. Published on Kindle: Adventures of a Young Girl and The Fruit of the Poisonous Tree.

this is my first reading challenge. for this year, I have taken 50 books as my reading challenge. according to Goodreads, I'm on the track and will try to take it higher.

I've read 62 so far so I can slow down, I guess.

I don't have the excuse of a heart attack (Wow), but I am struggling to finish a book, get my books into bookstores, get reviews for my current book, etc. etc. I do read, but I don't want to be pushed against the wall by yet another thing. Sorry.
