I know what you mean. When I do try a challenge, I prefer the ones that are very flexible. For example, ones that challenge things like reading 26 books, one by an author for each letter of the alphabet, or a title that begins with each letter. I don't like the ones that limit my genre, either.

For this years challenge, I want to read as much of Asian authors as I can.
