Where do you like to read?

Is it curled up in bed, or in the bath? Do you read in cafes or bars?

Riley Amos Westbrook (sonshinegreene) | 23 comments At home in the comfort of my bed.

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) | 82 comments I love to read in my bedroom and wherever there is quiet so I can hear the character's voices come to life in my head when I read the books.

Katheryn Avila (katheryn_avila) | 0 comments Wherever I can find the space to concentrate - my bedroom, the living room, outside, anywhere I can get comfortable. I don't like reading lying down, because I'm prone to falling asleep, so I always make sure I'm sitting up and nursing a coffee while I read.

Occasionally I'll read in the car (on road trips when I'm not driving), or in social settings, but only if I'm not *required* to be social lol.

P.I. (thewordslinger) | 75 comments I wish I could read in the car, especially on long road trips to Las Vegas! I can't however, I'm just absorbed with staring at the moon-like desert or talking with my family! I used to lay on the floor on my stomach but that was many moons ago itself and now I can barely get down to the floor let alone get up from it, lol! I haven't read anything in so long I don't have any particular place other than my bed that has overhead lights in the top of it. The bed is called "The Librarian" and the lights can be controlled with a touch AND I bought the very last one in stock; they don't make them anymore! It was made for me.

Philip Dodd (philipdodd) | 6 comments On a chair.

message 7: by Nelou (new)

Nelou Keramati (neloukeramati) In a comfortable hotel bed. Preferably on a Hilton bed (they are like cool, airy marshmallows). I can just sink into the comfort, filter out all extraneous stimuli, and immerse myself in the book!

J. Devau (imightbethathumanyouknow) | 7 comments This might sound just a smidge odd... under my bed, in my closet by candlelight, sometimes in my car...parked in my garage. I suppose the way to sum it up is while occupying a home of 4, anywhere secluded and quiet.

P.I. (thewordslinger) | 75 comments I think I've answered this before but my bed is called The Librarian and it has three lights hidden in its tall headboard with three separate lighting settings & touchpad control. It's huge, dark and impressive (like a good romance hero, lol) and in fact it was the last one ever produced! That's taken over from lying on my stomach on the floor reading when I was younger. However I'm planning on giving it to my mother since she stays up late reading.
