Jim | 21809 comments I knew if I put erotica in the title people would read it :-)
But yes, a lot of excellence

message 1259: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments well it resets something.........

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments The big question is this: What tune do the bells play?

message 1262: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments you just keep changing the drum

but here you have a keyboard rather than a drum

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I had to turn the volume way down on that!

message 1264: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments one video I saw had the guy playing it wearing ear defenders :-)

Mutt dining with friends

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I love this story. It has me giggling maniacally at several points.

manic giggling is good :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Especially when tormenting bureaucrats.

message 1270: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments One of the best possible occasions :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Pretzel pulling used to be very popular!

Although that guy at the back is giving it serious side-eye!

message 1272: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments yes, I may have a job for that. Looking at it led me to another, the musician's brawl :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oooh I like the sound of that!

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments The hurdy gurdy as a weapon.

As usual I suspect the composer will lose!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well we all decompose in the end.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) wrote: "The hurdy gurdy as a weapon."

Is that worse than the bagpipes?

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments The bagpipes have a greater range but the hurdy gurdy is better for hand to hand combat

message 1280: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments Apparently the pipes are best played by madmen
Whether they were mad before they started spending time too close to active bagpipes without wearing ear defenders is a matter for speculation

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) wrote: "The bagpipes have a greater range but the hurdy gurdy is better for hand to hand combat"

Clearly you are an expert. Do you have any practical experience of musical warfare?

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments No practical experience, merely a student. I recommend “The Aria of War” by Sun Toots for a good grounding.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments I don’t know about bagpipes being played by a madman, but you need to be mad to listen to them close by!

I mentioned I found the picture when following up one of yours :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Yes, I remembered that. Its so hard to stop at just one picture...

message 1289: by Jim (last edited Jan 04, 2019 08:09AM) (new)

Jim | 21809 comments I know, I can give them up at any time :-)

(I think I've seen the ones you've put on twitter, but I only look at twitter when I get notifications, I make a habit of saving all those you put here)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I have started following an account called Peter Paul Rubens, who posts great pictures every day. I could easily send you loads of those, but I try and restrain myself or you will have pictures for the rest of the year :)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Like this one for instance...

message 1292: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments a nice one with the child picking her purse :-)

message 1296: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments I'd read the story but this is the first time I'd seen the picture, I confess I quite like it :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments It is your type 😁

message 1298: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments it is something I can use :-)

message 1299: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments And one be too economical?

https://tallissteelyard.wordpress.com...

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Of course the ultimate terror would be a bagpipe and hurdy gurdy orchestra.
