Jim | 21809 comments I suspect it might be used as a last resort to frighten recalcitrant parents of young children into behaving.

"Behave or we give your children bagpipes and a hurdy gurdy"

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments In very serious cases add a drum kit.

message 1311: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments thanks, found it now, wondering what the person at the front is holding!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments It's a mouse trap, according to the person who posted the picture on Twitter.

message 1313: by Jim (new)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments You probably have a backlog of pictures at the moment, but I couldn't resist this one :)

message 1318: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments I don't see why you should resist it
But I've managed to use some of the backlog :-)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments How do you come across these pictures GL? Do you purposefully go on an obscure picture search?

message 1320: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments It's a question I've never dared ask :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Jud wrote: "How do you come across these pictures GL? Do you purposefully go on an obscure picture search?"

No, a lot of them are from Twitter. Sometimes I stumble over one when looking for something else. I do occasionally specifically search for one sparked by a conversation with Jim.

Not nearly as nefarious as I had hoped

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Wait, do you want me to start looking for pictures? I don't want to get banned from this thread!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Artist using own children as models?

message 1328: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments they've got more children than entirely necessary for an artist starving in a garret ! :-)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Jim wrote: "they've got more children than entirely necessary for an artist starving in a garret ! :-)"

The children are a large part of why they are starving in that garret.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Apparently wailing is more profitable than spreading rumour. Unless planned and organised by Mutt, of course.

https://tallissteelyard.wordpress.com...

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I recognise that picture :)

This teacher is cross-eyed - he can't control his pupils...

message 1344: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21809 comments I love it, the detail!
The boy over on the left whose backside is falling out of his trousers!
The child offering a pair of spectacles to the owl
And there seem to be two teachers, one may be a woman
