"I don't either..." Jewel said hesitantly. She whistled and Onyx landed near her a few moments later. "Do a sweep around the camp Onyx. Just in case." The large dragon nodded and launched back into the sky.

Alen heard a branch snap behind him in the woods, and quickly pulled out his bow and an arrow, aiming. Close to the edge of the forest stood a girl with a golden orb in her hand, creeping along the forest line. Alen let his arrow fly, nearly grazing her shoulder. The girl turned to look at him before quickly jumping into the trees.

(3 minutes earlier)

London crept through the forest, looking for the twerp who'd attacked her earlier. She moved quickly and quietly through the trees. London noticed a clearing up ahead and ran to observe it. It appeared to be some sort of camp. It looked mostly deserted except for two elves that were talking. Obviously, they had a thing for each other, but London wasn't here to play cupid. She noticed that one elf was getting uneasy, so she manipulated the air to pass around her as if she wasn't there. The other elf soon called on a dragon to search, and London knew she had to get out. As she turned, a branch snapped underneath her foot, and almost immediately London sensed that one of the elves had shot an arrow at her, and barely dodged it. Shoot... she thought, jumping into the tree closest to her. Now that twerp would know she was here....

Jewel jumped to her feet at the sight of the girl. She moved closer to Alen, almost intinctively, which was odd to her, since she was perfectly capable of protecting herself.

(3 minutes earlier as well)

Fleet snickered quietly as he prowled through the forest behind the girl he'd snapped at. He was in his panther form and was as quiet as a leaf drifting through the air. He purred when an arrow about hit her shoulder. He was getting to much enjoyment out of stalking after this delicate creature without her knowledge.

Alen looked at the tree trying to figure out where that girl was. He ran closer to the treeline, searching the branches. Just as he was about to aim. He sensed someone else was around.

London looked down from her hiding, hoping that stupid elf wouldn't find her. She couldn't hear him, but after a moment he appeared under her tree. It looked as if he was bout to aim, so she hid deeper in the tree and surrounded herself with a shield. But the shot never came. The foolish elf was obviously distracted. By what, she couldn't tell.

Jewel just stood where she was, scanning the trees from anything off. She saw a flash of yellow and darted over to Alen's side, subtly pointing so the tree where she'd seen it.

Fleet lept lightly up into the tree beside the girl's, then sprang silently into that one, crouching on a branch just above her.

Alen looked around, but the presence had left. "Something is going on here..." Alen whispered to Jewel. He looked around, and up in the tree, but he could not see the girl anywhere, nor sense the other presence. He did not feel comfortable in this situation.

London looked down, trying to figure out how to get out of this situation. That dweeb would be on to her soon, and she was no longer prepared for this. London felt the tree waver, and she looked around, but saw no one. She couldn't find a way to leave without grabbing the attention of the elves, and those things were hard to stop.

Jewel nodded in agreement. She looked at the tree she thought she'd seen the yellow, but it wasn't there anymore. She scowled.

Fleet growled a laugh, just loud enough for the girl under him to hear.

Alen heard a rustling in a tree a few paces away, and ran over to investigate. When he found nothing, he let out a frustrated sigh. "Why is this girl so hard to catch..."

London set out a beam of light, making sure it hit a tree a few steps away. That would keep them occupied long enough for her to get away. At that moment she heard a low laugh on the edge of a growl, and looked around, fear creeping into her against her will. "Dangit." She jumped over to the next tree, trying to get away. She was not ready...

"Probably because she doesn't want to get caught," Jewel said. She called Onyx again. "Anything?" The dragon snorted and shook his large head.

Fleet dropped in front of the two elves and grinned, flashing his sharp teeth. "Need any help?" He asked in his deep growling voice.

((Sorry! I'ma gonna try to be on. Mostly on the weekends...))

Alen quickly got his bow ready, pointing it straight at the newcomer. "Who are you?" He asked, his tone low but fierce. He unconsciously moved to protect Jewel, positioning himself in front of her.

Jewel swore under her breath. Just what she needed. Why was that stupid twit trying to get their help? She thought, unable to suppress a scowl. They'd probably kill him before they helped him. Hopefully.

Jewel chuckled and moved to stand beside Alan.

Fleet laughed. "Quick to violence for an elf I see. Don't worry. I'm a hunter too. Not from a Clan, I work alone."

Alen slightly lowered his bow, but made sure he was still in front of Jewel. "What is your business here?" He asked, eyes narrowed.

London tried to reach for another branch to get away, but it broke under her wait. Before she could use her magic to dissipate, she found herself landing on the ground with a loud thud. She groaned, an fiery pain shooting through her back. She cursed out loud, then cursed a little quieter when she realized she'd probably given away her position entirely.

Fleet spun around and locked eyes on London. "There you are!" He grinned at her devilishly.

Jewel frowned. "Hm."

"Crap." London said as she struggled to her feet. Her back ached, but she wouldn't let that stop her. She started running in a random direction, not caring if it was the coward's way out.

"Come back here you little....!" Alen yelled as he ran after the girl. Where did she think she was going? She was heading straight back to the camp. That girl had no brain...

"Hey!" Jewel sprang up into the trees and started swinging after the girl. She could hear the pounding paws of the werecat below her.

After she gathered enough power, London shot behind her blindly, not caring what the blast of powerful light hit. She could hear the pounding of her pursuers feet, and a sinking feeling in her chest. What if she couldn't get away?

Alen jumped of a log, barely managing to avoid a blazing ball of light. He couldn't believe how fast this girl was. She didn't seem the part.

Fleet hissed as the ball of light that the male elf had dodged scorched the tip of his ears. "You're just digging yourself deeper and deeper!" he yowled at London.

London huffed in response, taking a sharp turn. There was no way she was going to get out of this alive if she didn't fight. She turned around, her hands bursting into golden flames. "Come and get it, kitty." She hissed. She'd never liked cats.

Fleet pushed himself harder and sprang at London.

"Not a chance!" Jewel launched herself out of the last tree on her line and tackled Fleet out of the air. "She's ours!"

London hissed, not knowing what she should do. That other stupid elf might catch her if she took a run for it, but she didn't have the best chances with fighting either, with the odds being 3-to-1. So, instead of thinking about it, she started hurtling fireballs in random directions.

Alen dove under a large branch and took in the scene. Jewel was presently tackling the were-cat, while the little sorceress was standing there like a complete dult. He readied his bow, but his shoulder was grazed by a ball of fire before he could aim. "Crap." Alen hissed, dropping his bow.

((Wanna roleplay Costa and *can't remember his name* in Lakewood again?))

Jewel wrestled the werecat a bit more until she heard Alana get hit. She hit a pressure point on Fleet, paralyzing him completely for a moment. She darted towards London, dodging and ducking and jumping over fireballs.

((Yesh... It's cool. I forgot his name, too. ;D))

"Go down, elf!" London yelled, her voice practically a growl. Why were elves so hard to kill? At least she didn't have to worry about that twit. Or that other elf. She continued to hurl the fireballs, aiming at the girl elf.

Alen groaned, and looked at his shoulder. It wasn't too bad, but it hurt none the less. This would take a while to heal.

((Lol! Wasn't it Zach?))

Fleet growled and twitched, trying to regain control.

Jewel hissed and started zigzagging, making it even harder to hit her as she advanced, slower now.

((Oh, YAHHHHH!))


London growled and considered her options. She was the only not running, but she didn't want to be pursued. She paused her shooting to look around for a open path. Seeing one, she took off, hoping to get away.

Alen tried to move to get his bow, but a yelp escaped his mouth as a shooting pain came from his shoulder. No way he could catch up to that girl.

Jewel swerved but was knocked over by Fleet, who had regained control of his nerves.

"Out of my way elf!" Fleet snarled at Jewel, pelting after London.

London yelped as her body flung backward, propelled by a swinging branch. Her powers were getting out of control. "I wish this wasn't one of those moments where I wished I didn't have powers, but at the same time more..." she grumbled, picking herself up. Setting a fast pace for herself, she started running, hoping she could beat that stupid cat. Well, human. Were-cat... Whatever...

Alen ignored the pain, finally picking up his bow. He had half a mind to catch that crazy girl and give her a piece of his mind, but cast that thought away seeing Jewel. Alen jogged up to her, resting his bow on his uninjured shoulder. "Are you alright?" He asked, concern sneaking into his voice.

"Fine," Jewel answered shortly, panting. "She's fast for a... whatever she is. What about you?"

Fleet growled jump up into a tree, leaping from tree to tree and propelling himself faster on the branches.

Alen shrugged, making sure he didn't cringe. "I'll be fine." He said, looking around. "We should probably go catch that girl." Alen looked around. "Doesn't seem like that cat has caught her."

London tripped on a root, landing face-first. But she had more things to worry about, like the were-cat that was getting closer by the second. London tried to yank her foot from under the root, but it wouldn't bug. "Are you kidding me?!" She hissed, the seriousness of the situation sinking in. What if she died?

Jewel nodded and sprinted towards the forest.

Fleet almost missed the girl in his rush, but he managed to cling to his branch and stay. "Are you stuck?" he purred darkly.

London glared, trying in vain to get her leg out. "Maybe." She said with a huff. "Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to attack me already?" London growled, her hands blazing with fire. She wasn't planning on going down without a fight.

Alen ran after Jewel at a slightly slower pace than before, favoring his left side so his shoulder wouldn't hurt as much. How was he suppose to catch the girl if he couldn't even use his bow?

"I think I'll leave that to suspense." Fleet crouched like he was about to pounce at her, twitching every once in awhile to psych her out.

Jewel realized that Alen wasn't near her and spun around to go help him. "You're hurt."

London blew a strand of hair out of her face. She was sick of playing games. "Take this, you stupid cat!" London yelled as she hurtled two fireballs at the branch he was resting on.

Alen shook his head, not stopping. "I'm fine. It's just a little thing. It will heal." Hopefully... He thought with a small sigh. "We can't let this distract us. I can mend it when this is over. Let's just focus on that stupid girl."

Jewel frowned but didn't argue.

Fleet turned into a normal cat so the fire went over his head. "Meow." He grinned and pounced down at her.

Jewel saw the cat in the tree and took Alen's bow and knocked an arrow. She let it fly right when he jumped and ended up pinning his tail to a branch.

Fleet yowled in pain and turned into a human so he dropped, landing like one of those epic cartoon people that lands on their feet but crouched so much that they had to use a hand to brace themselves.
