Lovejoy and Sebastian could make an excellent team. Lovejoy is sharp and open to "modern" investigative techniques and science. Sebastian is also smart and his desire to root out the bad guy is strong. I hope we see much more of Lovejoy.

Were you surprised when Sebastian turned down Lovejoy's offer?

lorii (Loriidae) Yes but I think Sebastian will be persuaded to change his mind.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments No I wasn't surprised. Sebastian does his own thing and needs to be able to act outside the law so to speak.

I wasn't surprised either given his outlook on the government and its extensions. Him being an informal consultant to Lovejoy will work best for both of them.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I wasn't surprised. I think it would take him some time to get over being thought a suspect in this heinous crime, even though his father's dueling pistol was found at the site.

He had been through quite a lot of tense escapes, the horror of the "resurrectionist" aftermath, his relationship with his father and other family members, his first love and so on. Who would have been in the frame of mind to make a big change and commitment?

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments I think he is his own man and would feel constricted if we worked formally with Lovejoy.

He is quite the loner.

Mary Beth | 193 comments I did ike Lovejoy and liked how he respected Sebastian in the end. I was not surprised though when Sebastian turned down his offer.
