Julie (juliemdobson) I did. I've only read two of his books, but I found this one to be a nice laid back read.

What did you think of Dark Places? Have you read any of Flynn's other works?

message 15: by Julie (new)

Julie (juliemdobson) I enjoyed Dark Places a lot. It wasn't as good as Gone Girl, which is the other book by Flynn I've read. But it was still a good book - I didn't see the twist ending.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Good to know! I've read Gone Girl and Sharp Objects. Sharp Objects wasn't as good as Gone Girl either, in my opinion, but still a good book. I want to read Dark Places at some point!

Julie (juliemdobson) I've heard that Sharp Objects is very twisted at times and not for the squeamish but so far. Gone Girl is the best of the three. I'll read Sharp Objects soon enough, so we'll see.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Yeah, it is a pretty dark, and if you're sensitive to topics like self harm, then it will be difficult to read. It was pretty interesting, though.
