The October List question

I am hoping someone can help me. I am trying to remember the title of a book that I read a few years ago. It was a paperback that I picked up while on vacation. It was about a man who comes home and discovers that his wife has been murdered in their house and he is the main suspect. The novel proceeds to tell the story of how he tries to prove his innocence. What I liked most about this book is that each chapter went back an hour in time, perhaps the main character did too, I cannot remember. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
