The Camel Club by David Baldacci - It was speculative, not PNR and it was GOOOD. I don't really think it will fit in the above groups. But I had it readily available on my iPod and was in the car... a LOT... this month.
I'm finishing up a horror futuristic kind of one that's from Podiobooks. Read by the author. But it's not on Goodreads. :( I'll probably finish it tomorrow.
I can't find anything to fall under "historical" unfortunately and I always knew 8 was gonna be a no-go. I guess I just need to find something to be classic "romance" but also be PNR... LOL Wish me luck! I still have lots of driving to do this month so blah. :/

I switched out "Beauty's Punishment" By Anne Rice to "Club Shadowlands" By Cherise Sinclair

4 down, 5 to go.
Sadly, this is the first monthly challenge I've accepted that I will not complete, but it's because of happy happy news. I had my first baby - a boy named Alex - on August 19th. Taking care of him has slowed my reading down considerably, but he's well worth it!!

Yeah - I'm in too many challenges, but don't want to give up any of them!! AND when I read off-challenge, well...

Fantasy - Dagger-Star by Elizabeth Vaughan

2. Blood Promise by Richelle Mead
3. Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon
4. Chasing Midnight by Susan Krinard
5. Amaryllis by Jayne Castle
6. My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent
7. Sleeping with the Fishes by MaryJanice Davidson
9. The Witching Hour by Anne Rice

**EDIT 8/31**
Turns out Alias is not one of those shows you can watch one episode at a time... :) I'll be finishing Chasing Midnight, then starting on a reading assignment for school. Oh well, there's always the September challenge!

Aww, that's kind of sad. : (

Actually, right now it's kind of a good thing! Between just getting back from visiting family for a month (I love them, but it was far too long) and classes starting on Friday, I need some self-imposed down time!

Oh. My. God.
I don't know how anyone has the willpower to get through Touch the Dark. Seriously. Freaking. Slow. I thought that my brain was going to explode, but time was going to slowly for any kind of an explosion. Probably one of the worst books I've ever read, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their sanity. Bleh. Waste of trees. Take my advice and pretend that it doesn't exist.

Shoe Addicts Anonymous by Beth Harbison There was no paranormal in it, but it's chick lit!
So that's five for the challenge (unless you'll count the shoe book haha) and seven for the month. I spent a LOT of time in my car this month so it just made it hard to read.

I don't know where to fit this one in... the last book I read was the new Mercy graphic novel: Homecoming. Anyone know where it fits? Maybe it just doesn't. But it was great!

It's okay, Amanda, engaging enough for me to keep reading and find out what happens. I haven't skimmed ahead so that's a good sign :) Not a lot of action so far but I'm coming up to the last few chapters and I suspect that's where all the action will be.
