A World Without Sun discussion

Nate showed her a picture of a black haired man that had Yuki's eyes, "Ring any bells?"

Kilo blushed and nodded, "ya.."

Nate fought to keep his face blank. He nodded and scribbled down the address on it.

Kilo looked his face over, "Terry could probably watch Yuki," she suggested.

"He'll probably need to see her to believe us."

She nodded nervously, "okay.."

Nate nodded and closed the laptop. He knew it was stuipd but he couldn't help but feel jealous of the Link guuy.

Kilo took a deep breath and looked at the time, "it's only five, we could probably get it done today," she didn't have a lot of time before the trial.

"Alright." Nate said and went to Yuki's room and came out holding a sleeping Yuki. He didn't want to wake her.

Kilo stood and got the door for Nate. They got in the car.

((He is. He's going to go to the trial with Kilo and sign the paper for her and him to have joint custody. Chris gets nothing))

Nate pulled up to Link's house.

Kilo looked at the house and felt sick, "you sure this is the house?" There were a couple kids toys laying in the front lawn.

"Yea." he looked at her, "You don't have to come if don't want to."

She shook her head, "I should," she got out of the car, "you wait here with Yuki," she ordered and went to the door, she was going to bring him to the car to see Yuki. She took a breath and knocked.

A small girl around 12 answered the door. She smiled up at Kilo. "Hi!"

Kilo smiled softly, "hello, is your daddy home?"

"Yup." she nodded and disappeared inisde for a moment then came back out with Link.

Kilo's chest heaved, "h-hi, I'm Kilo." She looked around and whispered, "you visited me in the facility."

Link stared at the girl and nodded. He looked down at his daughter, "Why don't you go play with Joey?"
She nodded and ran inside.

Kilo bit her lip, he still looked as muscular as she remembered, "I don't mean to intrude.. But.. I umm.. I'm in a disgust ion and I need your help."

Bit of a situation and I need your help*

Link nodded, "Sure. What's happening?"

She bit her lip, "you have a daughter... I thought that she was someone else's and he wants to take her from me by taking me to court in two days."

He stared at her surprised, "I have a daughter?"

Kilo nodded and handed him the blood results, "she's in the car."

Link looked from the results to the car, "can I see her?"

She nodded and led the way. She opened the back door to revile the sleeping girl.

He smiled softly, "She looks a lot like you."

Kilo blushed, "thanks," she didn't look at him at first, "she has your eyes though,." She shifted and looked at him desperately, "will you help me?"

Link looked at Kilo and nodded, "Of course. Is it okay if we get joined custody though?" he wanted a chance to get to know Yuki too.

Kilo bit her lip sadly and nodded, he could take Yuki like Chris wanted to, "you get weekends?" She offered, "or do you want every other week?"

"2 days every other week." Link said, "She should know her other siblings too."

She nodded and took a breath, "deal."

He nodded, "Do you want to come inside?"

Kilo hesitated, "won't your wife be upset?" She assumed.

Link frowned, "She died 7 months ago."

She flinched, "I'm sorry."

He shrugged sadly, "Its okay."

She nodded and looked down. She noticed Nate get out of the car, "oh! This is Nate," she gestured to him.

Nate looked at Link and stuck out his hand.

Kilo watched them shake hands, feeling a bit awkward. She looked at Link, "s-so I'll see you in two days?" She just wanted to go to bed right now.

Link nodded and looked at Yuki, "Are you going to tell her about me being her father?" he guessed that Yuki believed Nate was her father.

Kilo but her lip, "I should.. But I don't want her to think Nate is any less of her father..." She looked at the guys for ideas.

"We tell her the truth." Nate told them.

She nodded nervously and looked at her sleeping daughter, "can we do it after the trial?"
