"Fine." he nodded.

Kilo frowned at Nate, "I can tell her now if you want," she challenged.

"Let her sleep Kilo." he told her and got back in the car.

Kilo watched where Nate vanished into the car. What was his problem? She thought he loved Yuki.. She looked at Link, "see you," she closed Yuki's car door then got in.

Link waved them off and went back inside.

Nate drove them back home.

Kilo sat in silence, glaring out the window. Nate was so sleeping I the couch tonight.
When they got home, kilo carried Yuki inside, ignoring the pain in her stomach. She tucked her daughter in then went to her own room and slammed the door.

Nate followed Kilo and knocked on the door gently, "Kilo?"

"What!?" She yelled threw the door. Okay, maybe not all the anger was actually hers, but she couldn't help it, her hormones were everywhere.

Nate sighed and came in, knowing he was wrong for acting s much like a jerk earlier.

Kilo sat on the bed with her legs crossed. She had the blanket pulls up around her, feeling cold, "what do you want!?"

"I'm sorry." he said going over to her.

Tears stung her eyes and she tried to hold into her anger as her emotions flopped around, "for what? Not wanting to be Yuki's father?" She tried to sound angry, "oh it's fine! Just fine!"

"wait-what?" he frowned at her confused, "Why would you think that?"

She looked away, her mood had changed from angry to just plain upset. Tears rolled down her face, she hated herself right now. She curled up in the blanket, hiding inside.

"Kilo." Nate went over and pulled her from her hiding spot. "Talk to me please."

Kilo sniffled, "w-when we were at Link's... You were just.. You weren't acting like you normally do.."

Nate brushed back his golden hair, "How was I supposed to act? I'm glad he said he would help us but Yuki is my daughter too. I don't want that to change."

Kiki nodded, "you acted like you didn't want her.."

"I was just jealous."

She frowned, "why?"

"He's Yuki's biologically father. He has kids that are Yuki's half siblings. She'll probably even being over there more." he admitted.

Kilo flinched, the thought of it hurt her, "it's only two days a week..."

"I know Kilo." he sighed.

She nodded and hugged her stomach, "she's your baby too.."

"Is it so wrong that I want to keep her that way?" he asked, "I love Yuki. But I know that she'd want to know her other family too and I don't want to stop her from doing it."

She nodded, "I know," she was scared of kissing Yuki too. She hugged him, "she loves you no matter what."

He hoped so. He hugged Kilo back.

After a little bit, Yuki knocked and came in, fully rested from her nap.

"Hey princess." Nate smiled hoping she hadn't heard their conversation.

"Hi!" She grinned as if nothing had happened today, as if she'd never met Chris or gotten a blood test. She crawled onto the bed and joined in the hug.

Nate smiled and wrapped his arm around the little girl. He looked at Kilo.

Tears filled Kilo's eyes, she didn't want this to be the last time they hugged as a family.

Yuki frowned and lifted her mom's cheeks into a smile, "Happy."

Kilo forced the smile to stay, "we love you Yuki."

"Love you too." she smiled and hugged Kilo.

Kilo held onto Yuki as if someone was about to take her away.

Nate parked the car and looked at Kilo, "You should be happy. We won."

Kilo nodded, "I know," she rubbed her hard stomach, "I'm just being selfish."

Nate kissed her cheek, "Yuki will be back."

She offered a smile, "I know."

He smiled back softly and got out and went over to her side and offered his hand.

She smiled softly and took his hand. She got out of the car and looked his face over, "so.. We could get the baby's room ready?" She offered, bit sure why to do without Yuki.

Nate nodded leading her inside, "We're using all of Yuki's old stuff?"

Kilo nodded, "I think that would be best," and cheapest.

Nate nodded, "Okay but no heavy lifting for you."

She sighed, "alright."

Nate went to get Yuki's old crib.

Kilo walked into the bedroom and looked around the empty space.
