From the book
On the night of 22 December 1980, a plane crashes on the Franco-Swiss border and is engulfed in flames. 168 out of 169 passengers are killed instantly. The miraculous sole survivor is a three-month-old baby girl. Two families, one rich, the other poor, step forward to claim her, sparking an investigation that will last for almost two decades. Is she Lyse-Rose or Emilie?

Thanks!

I know exactly what you mean Sandy. Unless the narrator calls out the chapters and pauses at them, *which I generally hate; they skip right by me. I love when Overdrive titles sometimes have the chapters named and numbered as part of the download, audible not so much, their chapters are sometimes simply breaks and if they are chapter segments, are usually not numbered the same as the book. a prologue can be chapter one.

I was hoping to be able to check this out as an eBook from my local library but no luck. As I am new to this group and do not want to miss out on the Group Read, I purchased from Amazon. Looking forward to reading and discussing.

Yes, I really do. I was surprised at this. And I sort of thought that my library system would have the biggest selection because I'm between two major cities in CA but I was wrong. My sister's library has almost double the ebook selection my does. Audio books I haven't compared.

I don't know that for sure, but have known instances when other library systems offered formats of books that mine didn't. They may decide how many copies are available to borrow (of at least some books), or whether to offer both audio and ebook formats.
Amy wrote: "I stopped by the library and was told that it is overdrive that puts out the available books."

I can't and they seem to have a lot more books to borrow.

My system loves digital because they save on the transportation costs where they have to move holds around between branches.

I want to read this one... I read another review from someone saying it was riveting. I'm gonna sample it and then decide if I wanna do the group read.

Are you planning on reading the book?
We've slotted this in as February book, but feel free to read in your own time and pace and come back to comment and give us your opinions.
